Overview

Cunt-erattack is an immersive media installation about digital violence, gendered hate speech and algorithmic discrimination on TikTok. The project translates a dataset of 7.5 million comments into a visual and spatial experience that exposes how online hostility is shaped, amplified and normalised through platform dynamics.

Concept & Approach

The installation combines data analysis with feminist theory and digital aesthetics to reveal how misogyny circulates across social platforms. I developed a visual system built from AI-generated avatars, motion sequences, typographic interventions and a narrative voiceover — creating an environment where digital aggression becomes visible and emotionally readable.
The design language blends hyper-digital texture, glitch materiality and speculative identities, positioning the work between research, visual storytelling and critical media design.

Deliverables

• AI-generated avatar system
• Multi-screen motion loops
• Spatial graphics & typographic system
• Narrative voiceover & video essays
• Data visualisation experiments
• Exhibition narrative & layout
• Visual assets for documentation & press

Outcome

Exhibited at Filmhaus Köln (SoundTrack Cologne 2025)
Nominated for the Cologne Design Award 2025
